The pain behind the smile..
Living with CRPS & MOGAD

One Wrong Step...

Just when I thought that I experienced the worst pain, life threw me another curveball...

My Journey ~ Check in for New Blog Posts!

Living with
CRPS & MOGAD requires strength and resilience every single day.

Every day can be a struggle both physically and mentally.

CRPS not only causes debilitating physical pain but can also significantly impact mental health, leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation.

MOGAD is a rare autoimmune disease in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the myelin, the protective covering of nerves in the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves (eyes). This disrupts the nerve signal transmission causing extreme neurological symptoms.

Both diseases are not curable and are very difficult to diagnose and treat.

Fighting for remission is the only option.

Don't let the fear of the unknown take control of your life.

About Me

Hi, my name is Kara and I want to share my journey of living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody-Associated Disease (MOGAD). I am just a person, going through this and I hope to provide a space for raising awareness, giving an inside look at my personal experiences, and offering support to others battling this condition.

Living with CRPS & MOGAD has transformed my life in every way you can imagine. This blog is my platform to help spread hope and understanding to anyone who may be suffering.
